2023 DF95 Region 2 Championship Regatta (R2CR)

We had nine skippers on the line for the first ever DF95 Region 2 Championship Regatta (R2CR). Heat management system for single fleet was used for scoring and twenty heats were sailed at the pond.

The weather cooperated for the committee with 70-degree temps and a pleasant NE breeze. Sean Bradley - fresh off his win at the Region 1 IOM regatta - was the on his game, peeling 6 wins in a row. His hot sailing continued with 8 more first place finishes in the regatta and a score of 20. Since first was NOT a question, the battle was on for the rest of the placings. Mike Campbell came in second with a score of 51. In third place was Adam Redding with a score of 67, and in fourth place was Jerry Franco with a score of 72.
