2023 J Class NCR

The Elk Grove Model Yacht club and the Sacramento Model Yacht co-sponsored Sacramento Sail Week 2023. The event was held at Bridgeway Lakes Park in West Sacramento, CA. As part of the event, the 2023 J Class NCR was held. The first day of the event had ten J's on the starting line. The wind gods were kind to us giving us winds out of the S/SW at a constant 7-10 knots both Saturday and Sunday. Thirty heats were completed over the two day event with four different skippers scoring a first place finish. Charles Witcher is our 2023 J Class champion. When it was said and done, One point separated first and second place. Lunches were provided both days by Dan Robinson and his food committee.
