It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Ward
Jack passed away March 4, 2023 surrounded by his family. His battle with cancer was unknown to us in Sun Coast Model Sailing Club. It was just 3 weeks ago he competed in two NCRs. We noticed he was not sailing up to his usual performance. Jack was a fierce competitor and will be greatly missed. He has been the Class Secretary for the US12M class and a past VP of AMYA. Jack won national championships in three classes, US12M, Micro Magic and Soling 1M. Fond memories Jack as you sail away on starboard tack.
