After 3 seeding races the Gold and Silver Fleets were determined. The Gold Fleet sailed 2 Races back-to-back and were followed by the silver fleet doing the same thing. This continued until each fleet sailed 12 races. In the Gold Fleet Barr Batzer and Jim Kaighin distanced themselves from the rest of the Fleet and combined accounted for 10 first places out of 15 races with Barr taking 1st Place for the Regatta and Jim 2nd. Jon Luscomb finished 3rd. 5 points separated top 3 in the Silver Fleet with Tom Garmanson nosing out Glenn Chalder By 2 points and Clark Fremgen by 5 points. RD Mark Fleckenstein did a masterful job in picking up subtle wind changes and having quality racecourse for all 30 Heats. Many thanks to all skippers who left snow to come down and sail in sunny Florida.
