The 2026 Bunny Bowl as held April 18, 2026 on a partly cloudy and cool day. Winds were 8-13 out of the northeast, shifting more easterly as the day wore on. For RC racing, this is a great wind direction for running races, with sailors able to use the full length of the main dock to race.

We had 22 entries, with 20 able to make it. Grouped heat racing was employed with 3 groups. We got all 18 heats off, with 12 completed races for every competitor. The first few heats started in B sails, before the breeze and waves picked up, forcing the fleet to C sails for the remainder of the day. The course was readjusted after lunch for the easterly shift that had begun mid morning.

Stu Challoner wins with 23 points with a dominant performance, only 3 firsts, but very consistent with mostly 2nd's and a few thirds. Frank Scailisi took second with 33 points, and Brendan Hogan rounded out the top 3 with 42. Tom Sollas and Bob Kuhne rounded out the top 5. There was solid performances all around, with the top 5 having at least one first, and many other competitors reaching the top three in races.

The Bunny Bowl is also the second regatta in the 2026 RC Laser Liberty League. Many competitors also competed in the RYC St. Patty's Day regatta in March.
