QCMYC held its third annual DF95 Fall Regatta on October 17th, 2026. The rainy morning gave way to very nice racing weather, with the winds starting out mild but building to the forecast speed and direction. Sixteen skippers sailed as one fleet and completed 16 races, in two sessions, for the day. The course was left to right, with the start line at the green marks at the south end of the lake. The first four races were one lap, but the balance of the morning session's races (4) were two laps. The winds continued to build, and the afternoon session's first six races were also two laps. With 16 races there were 3 discards. Thanks to our scoring team of Sheryl Saindon and Louise Holland and thanks to Jim Poutier for his equipment and setup help. Also, thank you to Sheryl Saindon for the pictures and videos. And thanks to Mike Saindon for his organizational skills and his efforts in getting the venue race ready. Mike also gets a BIG thank you for manning the rescue boat, 5 times. Thanks to all the participants for making this a great regatta.
