Judy Bonanno New Region 2 Associate Director
Judy Bonanno, of Shrewsbury, NJ, has been named the Associate Regional Director of Region 2 of the American Model Yachting Association(AMYA). AMYA has eight regions in the USA and Dave Branning, Region 2 Director, has selected Judy as ARD based upon her broad regional and national regatta support of many events she and her husband, Domenick, attend throughout the year. Region 2 is the fourth largest region in number of clubs but the largest in number of annual regattas that keeps us busy promoting and managing successful events. Judy has been well known in past years for her terrific photos and videos of all the regattas that she and Domenick attend. She has been increasingly active as a volunteer race committee teammate, as a scorer, starting and finish line judge and has embraced electronic scoring as the wave of the future for so many club, regional and national regattas. While doing all that, Judy's camera is capturing the action for all to enjoy. Judy Bonanno is the best person for the job and will be a most enthusiastic team-mate keeping Region 2 of the AMYA in good hands going forward. Submitted by: Dave Branning, AMYA Region 2 Director.
